Monetised / Steven Ounanian (2012)

Monetised was a performance that looked at how we materialise our dreams by monetising specific aspects of them, and the difference between desire for a better future and desire (greed) as a force and end unto itself.

The performance was created by speculative designer Steven Ounanian, who donned a ‘zoomorphic gown’ made entirely of U.S. currency and joined the Mobile Republic tour for three days while it was in Manchester.
