A Small Cinema In Chinatown (2011)
Re-Dock and AND Festival joined together to screen Chinese classic Zu Warriors, voted for by the community in the heart of Chinatown, alongside a selection of shorts looking at eastern perspectives with belief infused twists, including Wong Kar-Wai’s Hua Yang De Nian Hua and our specially commissioned short film HKSAR by Alex Gould.
Over 300 people turned out for this one-night-only outdoor screening, hosted beneath the iconic Liverpool arch. And in true Small Cinema style there was the opportunity to record your cinematic memories, past or present, for posterity.
