Parkway Cinema

Entertaining audiences for well over a century, the Parkway Cinema has been at the heart of Barnsley’s cultural scene since 1908. Housed in a building with a rich cinematic heritage, it has evolved through the decades to become one of the UK’s most distinctive independent cinemas. Today, it is one of only six venues in the country specialising in 70mm film projection, alongside 35mm screenings, the latest releases, classic films, live stage shows and event cinema.
