Wojciech Rusin

Based in London, Polish A/V artist Wojciech Rusin shuttles fragments of the distant past into the future, using 3D modeling technology and contemporary sound design techniques to print instruments based on ancient designs and transform their idiosyncratic wails into dense electronic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from alchemy, early music, renaissance choral music and Eastern European mythology, Rusin purposefully disrupts the timeline, demanding a more fantastical examination of history and culture.

Wojciech is part of W Brzask – a concert at dawn at Ephemera Festival, as part of our collaboration with Unsound.
