Sex for the Disabled \ 15mm Films (2009)

To mark a new collaboration between AND festival and DaDa Fest, provocative disabled artists collective 15mm Films developed a new project after their critically acclaimed video installation The Way Out.

Sex for the Disabled ironically addresses the question of sex: Do disabled people have sex and if so, is it different from able-bodied people? Messier? Twisted and gymnastic? What kind of sexual perversions are specifically disabled?

DaDaFest is an innovative disability arts organisation based in Liverpool, delivering the Festival and other arts events to promote high quality disability & deaf arts from unique cultural perspectives. DaDa Fest also produces opportunities for disabled and d/Deaf people to access the arts, including training and a young people’s programme.
