Abandon Normal Devices and Forestry Commission England had the delight to invite you to the exciting launch of AND Festival 2015.

Between the 18-20 September Grizedale Forest became a temporary haven for international filmmakers, artists, creative technologists, philosophers and scientists who provided new perspectives on the forest through the eyes of the plants, animals and machines that inhabit it, allowing visitors an insight into nature’s technologies as well as emerging trends in digital practice.

The programme included  a living exhibition, labs for artists and artworks that took the form of sculptures, open film sets, virtual reality experiences and distributed communications devices throughout the forest.

There were plenty of ways to participate and navigate the site with walking, biking and running routes on offer so join us on the opening night.
