Headwaters: Chapter Two – Branches
Fri 18 Jun 2021This next edition of Scalarama Merseyside’s journal series comes in podcast form, as Monika and Michael meet up to talk about cinema activism, part of Headwaters: a programme of archival film and conversation curated for AND Festival 2021.
The next event as part of Headwaters is Turbulent Flow, taking place online via Zoom on Wednesday 23 June. This event is free, but capacity is limited, so please book a ticket to ensure your place.
For this event, Scalarama Merseyside hosts an evening exploring water activism on film, using local footage about the historical misuse of water and the controversies it can cause. Reflecting with local activist groups, we will discuss how we get preservation campaigns seen and acted upon.
