Drive in: The Man Who Fell to Earth (2011)

AND transformed Preston’s thriving covered market into a cinematic platform for Nicholas Roeg’s stunning sci-fi classic, The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Focusing on an extraterrestrial (David Bowie) visiting Earth to get water for his drought stricken planet, Roeg’s meditative capturing of earthly pleasures, alienation and the destructive pull of greed is an alluring yet dispiriting vision of the not too distant future.

Audiences could tune their car radios into our film frequency, or hire headphones for a small deposit for this drive-in cinematic experience.

After Event: WE Corp Versus The World
After the screening, the mysterious WE Corp waited to usher you to a paranormal party. Taking place at a secret location with word spreading virally throughout the day, the party featured theatrical incursions from WE Corp together with music from electronic legend James Lavelle, with support from Cottam and Beats of Rage.

WE Corp Versus The World was produced for AND Festival 2011 by They Eat Culture.
